The regulations surrounding signs and emergency lighting are a part of The Building Code of Australia AS2293. CMC Electrical and Communications can install and provide ongoing maintenance for your exit and emergency lighting.

This code states that Emergency lights, in the event of a power failure, must be connected to an external source (battery) and operate for 90 minutes independently, with signs above or adjacent to every escape door.

Our maintenance ensures that your Exit Emergency lighting is to the Australian regulations in the event of an emergency.
